| The Pacific Northwest is arguably one of the most beautiful yet rugged areas in the United States. This is why Mike Burdic travels from the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Coast to capture amazing moments on film when nature really spreads its wings. Mike has an uncanny relationship with wildlife, almost a mutual understanding, and animals don't seem to mind his presence around them much at all. Kind of like an American version of Steve Irwin, Mike loves to travel around, camera ready for moments where nature reveals itself, sometimes in suprising and dramatic ways. |

Mike discovered his passion for freelance photography while working in Dutch Harbor, Alaska in 1984. Since then, his photos have made it into newspapers and private collections around the Pacific NorthWest and beyond. His work is currently featured in Island Park Guide. It's quite easy to see why his photography is so popular among those who have experienced it. Please be our guest, sit back and enjoy the galleries.

![]() Special Thanks goes out to Eric Matthews for design asthetics and artistic contributions. Since Floyd types slightly faster than Mike does, Mike narrated his content to Floyd who then skillfully typed it in. We're real Monty Python fans too, so we both feel we should mention them for some reason. |
